Palm Beach Tabouleh
Way before the pandemic hit, Peter and I loved going to The Honor Bar in Palm Beach…it is in an outdoor shopping mall and a perfect place to stop for drinks and lunch in between shopping…this was one of my favorite items on the menu, and one of the bartenders shared the ingredients…it’s super easy, very healthy, and could either be a light lunch on its own or a side dish to grilled fish…
Palm Beach Tabouleh
Exact measurements not necessary, adjust amounts to your preferences. I will give you my estimates…
3/4 c cooked and cooled bulghur
Curly kale (massaged first)
Uncooked corn (2 ears, cut the kernels off the cob)
3 scallions
1 bunch flat parsley
1/2 red onion
1/4 cauliflower head
2 mini cucumbers
1 tomato
Juice of 2 lemons
1/4 c olive oil
Finely chop the kale, scallions, parsley, onion, cauliflower, cucumber and tomato. (The chopping takes time, so be prepared!) Add the chopped veggies and corn to the cooked and cooled bulghur. Add the lemon juice and oil, mix well. Can be served at room temperature or chilled.

Hope you enjoy! And maybe one day, when life returns to normal, you can visit The Honor Bar in Palm Beach!
Stay well. Eat well. Enjoy the NOW. ;-)

My husband and I have been going to Palm Beach since before we married but we’ve never been to the Honor Bar. We will have to try it out!
It’s GREAT! :-)
The Honor Bar is part of the Palm Beach Grill! Owned by the same group.
Actually attached at the back of the restaurant.
The Palm Beach Grill is the former location of the infamous “Au Bar”
A very cool spot Can’t wait to try this recipe
I knew that it was part of The Palm Beach Grill, but am clueless about “Au Bar”. Must have been quite the scene – still is! ;-)
I think Au Bar has to do with a Kennedy mishap. Thus the “infamous”.
