Dirty Pants

Wolford basic top with Ralph Lauren jeans
Wolford basic top with Ralph Lauren jeans

So excited to find these fabulous Ralph Lauren jeans at TJMaxx early in October….what attracted me was the finish of the fabric that actually looks soiled – as if they were dirty from horseback riding or working on a farm….Ha! Yeah, it is a bit odd to pay for jeans that look dirty – and they retailed for $598!!!!   (I paid in the $100 range)….I think it’s the look of authenticity that is so appealing….

036 Other interesting parts of this Saturday afternoon outfit…the belt is also Ralph Lauren, belonged to Ginger…..the boots are Pakros, bought a few years back at The Tannery…this brand is known for distressed leather and interesting hardware; other styles can be found at Nordstrom’s or online through Zappos….and how about this amazing scarf??? OMG. It is sooo soft, so luxurious, so different. It is a Foliero Sarti, made of micromodal and silk – found at Revolve in Lexington…..these scarves are sold in high end boutiques – double the cost of a Burberry scarf – but not at Revolve!  The interesting art on this scarf is fun to show depending on how you wrap it……..

Such a cool scarf!

015 A black jacket would certainly work, but how perfect is this Harris Tweed blazer?? It is also Ralph Lauren, purchased over 15 years ago at an outlet store in Maine…..such a classic, yet with it’s feminine tailoring and trim fit, it still looks current….hat by Rag and Bone…..

Time to do my Saturday errands…..where the heck is my saddle??? 😉
