WELCOME
My name is Candy Costas! I am a business owner, wife, mother of two and grandmother of two, living in the Boston area, and traveling on a regular basis. As a 64 year old, I see every day as an opportunity for enjoying life to the fullest, whether at work or after hours. To me it all starts with an ongoing commitment to being the best that you can be and that means effort.
Regardless of your age, it takes effort to be fit, effort to develop meaningful relationships, effort to look your best, and effort to be stylish. Even so-called ‘effortless style’ takes effort!
What’s the benefit of all this effort? Living a kick-ass life! Whether you are a woman or a man, all this effort ultimately leads to more confidence, more energy, and more opportunities. Dressing well and being fit is not simply about how you look – it has a direct effect on how you feel, and how others perceive you.
Just because society has become more casual and dress codes are lenient, this does not mean that you have to follow along – maybe YOU will be the start of a new trend, a trend to look polished and elegant, perhaps being a role model for the younger generation. Come along on the Candy Costas adventure and let’s explore the power of style together!

Hi Candy! I just enjoyed reading your blog! I loved it and I think you have and will have lots of info that will inspire women! Good luck! Happy blogging!
Candy, this is wonderful. I love it. I have bookmarked you and will check back periodically. And I love the name of your blog…I have such fond memories of your mother who I adored. Don’t now where you get the time to keep up a blog and keep up your fitness regimen and work full time. Hats off to you my friend (hats…a potential blog entry!).
Love the coat. Love the blog.
Love you. You amaze me and are my inspiration. As a plus size woman, Ive always been afraid of fashion. After losing 140 pounds I’m trying to embrace it but find I still cover and hide my body. One day,(after my back surgery) I hope to gather with you and hopefully your beautiful daughter, and have you guide me into fashion…on a budget!
Love you. So proud of you
