A Dream Come True
A few years ago at the Well Heeled Boutique in Stowe, Vermont, I discovered the beautiful jewelry line created by Julie Miles...dramatic necklaces, rings, bracelets, freshwater pearls combined with leather, metals and stones…all very unique pieces and wearable for day or night, dressed up or casual…

I bought this pearl and silver ring and have been enjoying it on a regular basis, while still yearning for a more dramatic piece…to stay connected I ‘liked’ Julie Miles Jewelry on Facebook and we became Facebook friends…
About a year or so later in Naples, I splurged!

While there were many gorgeous necklaces to choose from, I opted for this pearl and leather choker with a druzy stone…I never knew what that was before but it is a natural gemstone, sparkly and quite beautiful…here I wore it going out in the evening, I have also worn it with a plain tee during the day…
Fast forward to April 2020, deep in midst of the pandemic lockdown…stuck at home, baking muffins, work, sleep, exercise, repeat…
One morning, I woke up and remembered a funny dream: “Peter, I had a funny dream last night – I dreamt I was shopping in a cool boutique and the saleswoman said that everything was 70% off, even including all the Julie Miles jewelry! I woke up before I saw what I bought!” Hahaha!!!
I posted my dream on Julie’s Facebook page, thinking she would get a kick out of it! Well, this kind lady certainly did – she sent me two beautiful bracelets!

One is gold leather with Bali pearls, the other is an infinity love bracelet, where she donates large portions of sales to fight cancer in children…Julie is a cancer survivor herself…

It’s fun to layer these bracelets and it’s also fun to follow Julie on Facebook as she travels all around the world…I love her energy…
(From JulieMiles.com) Her pieces reflect the tempo of our times: daring, dynamic, and a nostalgic craving for the humanity that reminds us that jewelry we wear is not just a visual statement but also a connection to our spiritual identity. (Love that!)
Stay well. Dress well. Enjoy the NOW.
