Blending Brands
If you look in your closet, chances are you will find a repeat of certain brands you like, brands that fit you well, brands that also fit your lifestyle…what you want to avoid is wearing all of one brand at the same time which can be very ‘vanilla’ and shows no personal style. Mix them up and then your look is your look.

Three of my favorite brands are Theory, Rag and Bone, and Wolford – all pulled together for this business casual outfit. The winter white turtleneck is a fine merino wool, fitted but not too tight with sleeves that are great under a blazer…the A-line candy apple red skirt is a wool blend, sits quite comfortably on the hips.

Since the skirt is a couple of inches above the knee, black Wolford tights keep it work appropriate. Shoe choice this day: suede booties with a block heel, ready to walk for miles!
While many think of Rag and Bone for their great fitting jeans, they also have a line of clothing that includes edgy skirts, sweaters, booties, and fabulous blazers…this camel wool blazer with black buttons will also be great with skinny jeans or leggings, when you may want to have some coverage over your butt!
All classics, all mix and matchable!
Works with other classics too! 😉 #obsessedwithburberryscarves
Lo and behold, I did it again! Here is another work outfit where I unconsciously mixed these same three brands…a Theory blazer with leather sleeves, a Wolford lace top, a Wolford flower pin, and Rag and Bone cropped flares…all pieces that can have very different looks depending on how you wear them.
How about you? What brands are your favorites?

What really would have put this outfit over the top would have been to grab the Goyard that’s in the pic and place it over your shoulder.
Both outfits are spot on- all classics that can be mixed in other ways as well! Love your style, and of course your Burberry scarves:)
