If you are dressing for business during the week, Saturday is a welcome time for casual comfort, flat shoes, something not work appropriate.  If you are staying home to cook and/or do housekeeping (ugh!), jeans and a tee are in order; if you are headed out to run errands or to your child’s soccer game, go for something more fun!  An easy fun outfit for me starts with faux leather leggings (Wolford), topped off with a  faux suede top by Byron Mars, found last year at Portobello Road in Chestnut Hill. What is most appealing about this look is the combination of unique fabrics: a soft, matte suede top with the edgy, shiny leggings  – and before you soccer moms say that this impractical, your clothes get dirty from the kiddos, both pieces are machine washable! 

For comfort and style together, you can’t beat these slip on sneakers by Vince. Because of the two inch platform you get some height while still wearing a flat which is a huge plus for us petite gals. They also come in leather; these are microfiber, nice and light for year round wear.

With a casual outfit I always like an arm full of bracelets, here an earthy combo of brown leather and turquoise.

For a mild day a white denim jacket would be a nice way to lighten up the outfit – on this particular day it was quite chilly so a wool jacket was the perfect topper. Ready to head out the door with my fabulous treasure from Revolve, this cool Prada bag which works just as well for business or casual days.
