It’s going to be in the 90’s and humid – but you know your office is like an icebox – what’s a gal to wear??
In terms of comfort, you don’t want to be freezing all day, so wear a top layer that you will be comfortable in when in air conditioned spaces….a blazer or jacket, or a sweater that coordinates with what you are wearing. It can be feather light, or more substantial, just be sure you look work appropriate underneath if you are sweltering and take off the top layer….In addition to keeping you comfortable, another plus of wearing a jacket or sweater is that it adds more of a finished look and shows less skin – to me, appropriate when you are in an environment with businessmen, and also if you opt for bare legs. You may also not love how your arms look – another reason to wear stylish, lightweight sweaters. Look for styles that are flowing and have a bit of shape – a boxy ‘traditional’ cardigan is usually not most flattering.
It is not often that I leave the house without a scarf….it adds another layer of interest and another layer of warmth if I am cold…this one with anchors is a cheapie favorite….
Is your office freezing? Any creative solution?
