Sometimes you are getting ready for work and you are too tired or rushed to coordinate an outfit. The answer can be a dress – or for me, it’s anything from J. McLaughlin. Here is a favorite top that is a no brainer to throw on with a black pencil skirt (from Revolve). It is an equestrian pattern (no need to ride horses!) that has an upscale look and a nice color combination of tan, mustard and black. For a more finished look – and extra warmth – I top it with a merino wool camel sweater, also from J. McLaughlin. Belt here is Versace – a consignment treasure from Revolve.
While I wear it here with black boots, I also like it with brown boots and a tan or gold belt. It also looks great with tan jeans or black leggings. And to make it even easier, it is machine washable….
