End of Week Chic
On this particular Friday I was in the mood for something with ‘French’ style, then decided to combine French flair with nautical for a look that felt fresh and unique!
What makes the look French? Simple. Feminine. Navy with black accessories. And a floppy bow! This shirt is by PINK, impeccable tailoring in a crisp percale cotton that irons beautifully. Added a string of cultured pearls that belonged to Ginger, another feminine detail…
Keeping the look light for spring, a ‘schoolgirl’ cashmere cardigan by Rag and Bone.
The navy nautical skirt is a lightweight wool by Ralph Lauren – his ‘black label’ which I learned from Ginger was a higher end line. Quite obvious in the fabric, fit, and tailoring details…a treasure I found at Revolve in Lexington…(have you been lately???)
It was a chilly spring day, so a scarf and winter coat were still in order…
But did you notice that I skipped the tights? Sometimes there is nothing that looks better than a bare leg.
Au Revoir! 😉

I love the entire outfit – but the skirt and shirt together are beautiful! We’re having Dogwood Winter where I live – it was 41 for the high today. I could not get warm. So I would not be able to do a bare leg yet. But by the end of next week, it’s supposed to be in the upper 70s!
Totally understand – I am back to wearing stockings today! Soon it will be warmer!!! 😉
