Good As Gold
Another WFH outfit with a few new basics that will definitely be year round favorites…

Let’s start with this necklace! It’s actually two separate pieces, both by Robin Steele and a steal at under $100 each! It’s fun to mix in costume jewelry with your real pieces, especially since you can go as big and bold as you like without breaking the bank...found these at Sole Amour in Winchester, where I also found this fab white cotton shirt by Xirena…as far as I’m concerned, you can never have enough white shirts!

The fabric is a fine, lightweight cotton with a subtle wrinkle effect…here I wore it layered over a tank, it will also be a great shirt to tie at the waist…

But on this day I did a ‘french tuck’, just tucking it in at the front, and letting the rest be relaxed…
The black pencil skirt is also a new piece – because you can also never have enough black skirts! This is a mid-weight cotton knit by Stateside…it’s super casual and a flattering fit…fun to wear with sneakers, flats, wedges, or even Birkenstocks in the summer…

But no sandals yet in Boston!

That’s ok, these patent wedges are a chic and comfy option!

The Bottom Line:
- You can never have too many white shirts or black skirts.
- Bold gold jewelry is a perfect match with minimalist basics.
- Style and comfort do go together!
- Simple basics may not ‘wow’ you in the store, but they are often the base of a ‘wow’ wardrobe.
Stay well. Dress well. Enjoy the now.

I’m not going to say this is my favorite outfit you’ve ever worn, but it’s in the top 5.
I love each and every piece!
Wow, really??? I love every piece too. 🙂
