Light As A Feather
Sometimes a jacket is more about being warm and toasty – sometimes it is more about the style, pulling an outfit together, as with this copper colored Cartonnier jacket from Anthropologie….it is unlined rayon and light as a feather so perfect for layering over sleeveless tops or a long-sleeved sweater…
Worn with a black pencil skirt and sleeveless white shirt it is a chic business casual look…..
….More interesting (and casual) than a classic blazer, and the long, loose style balances the body conscious skirt….
On the weekend it’s fun to wear it over old cropped jeans and an ivory sweater….
Instead of belting it in the front, I tie it loosely in the back and wear it open….
Added giant brass earrings, a wrist of earthy bangles…..
….and of course a scarf! ‘Light as a feather’ gauze scarf with shiny gold elephants….if it gets too warm I will tie it on my tote so it is still part of the outfit…why hide it in the bag? 😉

That is a beautiful jacket, though the color looks more like camel on my screen.
You are right Rita!
