Oldies But Goodies
When you really love an article of clothing, you can wear it for years if regularly cleaned, tailored, and styled in different ways….it is hard to believe, but this pink silk Pucci jacket is over ten years old…found way back when at TJMaxx, probably spent about $250 (ALOT for TJs!)…….it turned out to be a great investment as I have worn it over and over again……this time I left it unbuttoned and rolled up the cuffs to show the Pucci lining…..loosely wrapped a silk square scarf around my neck, with pearls and a long gold chain necklace…..
The black knit pencil skirt is an oldie too – who would ever know??
The basic white top is a great value from White House/Black Market….they make nice basic tops for layering under jackets, good to stock up….
To keep the focus on the jacket and not overdo details, I chose plain black tights and plain black booties…..the overall look is professional, feminine, and classy! (Added bonus is comfortable too…)
February winds are blowing, it is still winter – a good day for my white Mackage! This is turning into an oldie too! 😉
