The liquid smoke was an ingredient I did not have in my cupboard, but it definitely adds the right flavor…it is strong so you might want to try it first with half the amount than the recipe calls for – I did…

Here are the boneless ribs before being smothered with the sauce…this is 4.5lbs…

Here they are with the sauce…the little chunks are onions…

And here when they are finished cooking and so tender you can cut them with a fork…one thing I will warn you about that isn’t in the recipe – there will be a lot of liquid in the pan toward the end of cooking…you will want to carefully drain off and discard much of it, then save about 2 cups to thicken for a gravy…

Serve with mashed potatoes and your favorite vegetable then wait for the praise! Your family will be amazed, they will be WOW’d, they will be fighting for second helpings! If there is any left, this also makes yummy leftovers…a simply perfect meal for a cold winter night.
