This was a long week of being very busy at work – as Peter was unpacking his bag returning from a Chicago business trip, I was packing mine for a business trip to New York and Greenwich. On top of being crazy busy, I have also had a nasty head cold so have been sneezing and sniffling all week, balls of tissues trailing my path, along with the scent of menthol…..just lovely.
After taking two Benadryl and two Tylenol Thursday night, I woke up on Friday feeling like myself again. Thanks goodness for that and TGIF! So of course I was wanting to shed the business clothes and head out for fun. I was in the mood for wearing something edgy and even though it’s still chilly, felt like having bare arms (under fur coat of course…). Peter wore jeans and surprised me by wearing this John Varvatos scarf – it is soft and distressed and I think very sexy….definitely a fashion statement, so some men may not see the point. (Come on guys!)

I don’t remember the designer of the scarf I wore because I cut off the tag, but it is mostly made of micromodal, 10% cashmere – it is incredibly soft and drapes beautifully. There are other unique scarves at this small, European boutique – pricey, but they do have great sales.

What do you like to wear on Friday night?
