Tied Up
Here’s a post did back in October but never published. Works for this time of year too as navy and white are a good combo for spring..
As much as feminine styles are appealing to us ‘girly-girls’, put on an outfit with one or more masculine components and you can be sure to rock some standout style!
Component number one: Navy pinstriped pants by Theory, inspired by a man’s suit, yet the silk fabric keeps them feminine…Component number two: Of course, the tie! It was actually Ginger’s, also in navy, by Donna Karan.
It’s fun to mix the gender styles, a string of pearls is fun and unexpected with a tie. To be sure the scale is balanced more on the feminine side, the shoes had to be sexy!
Ready to head off to work wearing professional attire that is atypical, comfortable, and fun!

Hey! Looks like I’m not the only one at the office who embracing this masculine accessory! One of our nurse supervisors looked adorable in a tie she says she bought many years ago. Love the balance of the bold colorful print paired with the conservative plaid pants and wearing the shirt untucked keeps the look easy and effortless. Rhonda is rocking’ it!
Tempted to raid your husband’s closet? 😉
