Anthropologie jacket, All Saints skirt, Wolford tights, Cordani booties It’s cold outside (at least it was last week!), you need to get dressed for work, it’s the holiday season….how to look pulled together, professional, festive – and be comfortable….On this particular day I started with the waxed cotton skirt (only looks like leather) which has plenty of stretch so is comfy…balanced the ‘edgy’ skirt with a feminine wool jacket, have had this for years – the peplum and ruffle style seem to be timeless….instead of a bright red scarf which you see a lot of in December, I chose a cranberry cashmere (Nordstroms)….what I also like about this scarf is that it is really two toned in color and is fringed – much more visually interesting……stockings are from Wolfords – fun and comfortable, breaks up the solid black…..Pin I saved from a St John dress I had in my twenties! To keep in line with the holiday season, I wore a sparkly pin on my jacket lapel, kept my other jewelry simple.Capo hat from Revolve, Mackage jacket, bought years ago in New York Always need a hat, chose the floppy wool Capo with my Mackage jacket – the length of this jacket is perfect if you are driving and does not overwhelm a petite person……off to work I go!
