Beret Season
Some call it sweater weather, some may call it boot season…as for me, frosty mornings mean it’s time to pull out my beret! This classic wool hat protects you from autumn winds with Parisian style and really can work with whatever your style happens to be…

It’s the weekend – a few errands to run, with the added bonus of taking our grandkids out to lunch…this calls for a comfy casual outfit – of course with standout style!

Starting with black basics is always a good thing! Ralph Lauren jeans with a slim fit off the shoulder sweater. While all of my newer jeans are high waisted, I still have some low rise jeans that I am not ready to part with! (How about you???) On my feet, Vince slip-on microfiber sneakers. The belt, one of my favorite accessories from Ginger – is also by Ralph Lauren….the KENZO scarf was a great find this year from Revolve…it is a sheer wool, and a very unique animal print!

Isn’t it fabulous? The white background with touches of red look great with dark neutrals and it’s fun to see peeks of the whole tiger! A nice alternative to leopard, right?

As for a jacket, with all that black why not go bold? This puffer poncho by ROLYN is lightweight and even has a hood for a drizzly day…

But a hood does not replace a wool beret! And with a puffer like this that has cropped sleeves, wearing a long sleeved sweater underneath is a must – both for looks as well as comfort.
Ready to head out, pick up the kiddos, and get the day underway! No serious shopping with the kids in tow, but plenty of FUN with Gigi and Papou!

Happy Friday!
