Simply Saturday

After a leisurely breakfast and a workout at the gym, time to get dressed for the day…a much needed day to poke around shops, do a few errands, grab lunch with hubby. A perfect day for jeans – but not any old jeans! These are ‘7 For All Mankind’, in a waxed cotton that really feels and looks a lot like leather. Super comfortable, not too high waisted, yet not too low. Found at the Cusp in the Chestnut Hill Mall, where they have a nice selection of jeans and young sales gals that offer helpful guidance. The cotton shirt is by Frank and Eileen – while this brand is also carried at the Cusp, I was thrilled to find this one at Revolve.  You probably noticed the ripped knees – what do you think? It is my second pair of ‘distressed’ jeans; I like the edginess but chose a style/brand not overly ripped up. The open toe booties are by Jeffrey Campbell, ordered them online after I admired them on a colleague.  Belt by Lucky Jeans. With temperatures below 60 I grabbed my thin puffer by Uniqlo, and and a fun scarf I picked up last year in New York. It’s soft…it’s glamorous…but the fuzz is sticking to my lip gloss…Hmmmm…

Truth be told, at the last minute I changed the scarf.

Sometimes I can be pretty boring. I wear this Burberry scarf all the time.  Doesn’t it look better?
